S: Back length: 9.1 in; Chest circumference: 13.8 in

XL: Back length: 14.6 in; Chest circumference: 19.7 in
Use back length and chest circumference as the primary fit checks. Measure back length from the base of the neck where the collar sits to the base of the tail. Measure chest circumference around the widest part of the ribcage, usually just behind the front legs. Keep the tape snug, not tight. If your dog is growing or falls between sizes, choose the larger size.
