SpikeVest Protective Dog Vest

The SpikeVest Protective Dog Vest from CoyoteVest is built for dogs who need a defensive outer layer in environments where encounters with coyotes, aggressive dogs, or other animals are a concern. It uses puncture-resistant ballistic material, a Kevlar®-reinforced throat collar, removable hard-plastic spikes, reflective details, and wide hook-and-loop closures to make grabbing and biting more difficult while preserving adjustability.

Mini: Back 8.5 in; Waist 9–14 in; Neck 6–11 in; approximately 2–5 lb

X-Small: Back 10 in; Waist 13–18 in; Neck 9–14 in; approximately 5–7 lb

Small: Back 12 in; Waist 15–21 in; Neck 9–15 in; approximately 6–12 lb

Medium: Back 15 in; Waist 16–22 in; Neck 10–16 in; approximately 10–28 lb

Large: Back 20 in; Waist 22–30 in; Neck 13–21 in; approximately 25–55 lb

Back length is the primary sizing measurement. With your dog standing, measure in a straight line from the front shoulder area to the start of the tail rather than following the curve of the back. CoyoteVest recommends choosing the smaller size when a dog falls between two sizes.

Care:

- Hand wash with mild detergent

- Air-dry in the shade; do not use a dryer

- Keep the hook-and-loop closures clear of hair and debris so they can grip securely

- Inspect closures periodically because hook-and-loop material can lose holding strength as it wears
